Greetings from Tromaville!

Welcome, and thank you for supporting “Burning Paradise Presents: TromaDance New Mexico!” Over the past year or so, Troma Entertainment has developed an intimate, non-sexual relationship with the fine folks at Burning Paradise Video. It is with great pleasure that we are able to present this film festival as a collaborative effort between our two companies.

The purpose of “Burning Paradise Presents: TromaDance New Mexico!” is two-fold. First, it is a modest attempt to showcase the incredible filmmaking talent of New Mexico. Hopefully, by providing a venue for local artists, the state and its governor will realize that developing a local film scene is far more satisfying than bending over to please untalented Hollywood hacks. And second, it is our way of promoting truly independent ART.

As you spend the weekend taking in the films and talking to filmmakers, you might feel the burning desire to pick up a camera and create a film of your own. If this is the case, then take no prisoners! Together we can sieze control from the corporate/state sponsored satan worshipping cartel which dictates what we can and cannot see!
